Lattice Calculation of Moments of Structure Functions in Unquenched QCD
Abstract: Since it is not practical to calculate moments of structure functions with ensembles of unquenched configurations as large as have been used in quenched QCD, it is important to use nucleon sources and sinks which optimize the statistical accuracy of the operators to be evaluated. In this work, we explore the accuracy that is obtained for moments of spin independent and spin dependent structure functions using point and smeared sources and sinks at different spatial separations for nucleons at zero and non-zero momentum and report preliminary results at $\beta$ = 5.6 using configurations from the SESAM collaboraton.
