String breaking and lines of constant physics in the SU(2) Higgs model

Abstract: In order to investigate possible cutoff effects in the string breaking phenomenon, we address the question of determining the lines of constant physics in the confinement ``phase'' of Higgs model on the lattice. The screened static potential normalised to its asymptotic value provides a physical quantity mostly sensitive to the bare hopping parameter $\kappa$. In order to find a quantity sensitive to the bare quartic coupling $\lambda$ we studied the correlators in the Higgs- and W-boson channels and the cumulants of the zero momentum gauge invariant\
