Parallel Session: Improvement and Renormalization II

Tuesday June 29th, 17.40 - 18.00, Room B

Fixed Point Action of $b=\sqrt{3}$ RGT

Abstract: We present the construction of fixed point action for SU(3) gauge theory using the renormalization group transformation (RGT) with $ b=\sqrt{3}$. We discuss the advantages of this RGT: it incorporates more gluonic degrees of freedom than the conventional RGT with $ b=2 $, has higher rotational symmetry, less parameters, and has the same block cell for gauge and matter fields. We analyze the issue of locality under RGT and compare results with those from other RGT's.
