Extracting $V_{ub}$ from the lattice

Abstract: We present results of a lattice computation of the matrix elements of the electroweak current which are relevent for the semileptonic decays of heavy-to-light mesons. We compute the total decay rate for $B\to\pi l\nu$ and compare with experiment and extract the CKM matrix element $V_{ub}$.
