Monopoles and Classical Solutions in the Lattice Gauge Theories

Abstract: Monopolelike classical solutions in threedimensional and fourdimensional pure gauge U(1) and SU(2) lattice theories has been studied. A possible implication of these solutions to the confinement mechanism(s) in different theories is discussed.
