The parity partner of the nucleon in quenced QCD with domain wall fermions
Abstract: The domain wall discretization in vector gauge theories can cope with the chiral symmetry on the lattice. As a result, the implementation of domain wall fermions (DWF) could reduce the mixing between states of different chirality. Here, we mention that the chirality mixing problem is crucial on the study of negative parity baryons because of interference between low-lying positive parity baryons. In our talk, we present a first measurement of the mass spectrum of the spin-1/2 negative parity baryon in quenched QCD with DWF.
