$B \to D \ell \nu$ and $B \to D^* \ell \nu$ Form Factors at Zero-Recoil (talk)

Abstract: We update Fermilab's model independent calculation of ${\cal F}_{B \to D}(1)$, the zero-recoil $B \to D \ell \nu$ form factor, needed to extract $|V_{cb}|$ from experiment. Extending our method to the vector mode, we determine the $B \to D^* \ell \nu$ form factor, ${\cal F}_{B\to D^*}(1)$.
