High temperature meson propagators with domain-wall quarks

Abstract: We have calculated the singlet and non-singlet meson propagators on a set of quenched configurations in the high-temperature (quark-gluon plasma) phase of lattice QCD using domain-wall fermions. With the improved chiral properties of domain-wall quarks we observe that the zero modes associated with non-zero topological charge contribute almost all of the disconnected part of these propagators. We have also isolated the contribution of these zero modes to the connected propagators. The validity of the Atiyah-Singer index theorem is also tested.
