Chiral Disorder in QCD

Abstract: We show that the quark return probability in QCD can be used to investigate a number of properties of the QCD vacuum in analogy with disordered metallic systems. We use it to exhibit novel phenomena in QCD in the presence and absence of matter. Most of our observations are emmenable to lattice QCD simulations.
