Topic: Spin Models
Higher-Spin Cluster Algorithms: the Heisenberg and U(1) models
Abstract: I will discuss the extension of cluster algorithms to higher-spin representations in continuous time, with applications to both the quantum Heisenberg model and the U(1) quantum link model. I will present results for the Heisenberg model and discuss some of the limitations (and possible fixes) of the U(1) algorithm.
