Renormalization of the static-light axial current

Abstract: We discuss the determination of the heavy-light axial current renormalization in the static approximation, using a new method based on the Schr\"odinger Functional. While the method is meant to lead to a non-perturbative solution of the problem, we have so far studied it in perturbation theory up to one-loop accuracy. Apart from encouraging insight into the possibilities of the method, previous results for the perturbative renormalization constant are confirmed.
