Symmetry Breaking, Duality and Fine-Tuning in Hierarchical Spin Models
Abstract: We report recent calculations for spin models in the hierarchical approximation: 1) Checks of triviality and hyperscaling in the symmetry breaking phase. 2) Calculations of the non-universal quantities entering in the scaling laws by combining dual expansions about the IR fixed point and the HT fixed point. 3) Attempts to construct models with an approximate supersuymmetry and free of the fine-tuning problem.
