The staggered Dirac operator spectrum in different topological sectors

Abstract: The spectrum of the staggered Dirac operator in quenced QCD, on an 8^4 lattice, is considered in configurations with topological index $\nu$ = 0,1,2. The spectra are compared with the predictions and it shows that the staggered Dirac operator is oblivous to topology.
