Self-Avoiding Crystalline Membranes
Abstract: I will discuss recent simulations of self-avoiding crystalline membranes, focusing both on improvements in simulation methods which have made possible studies of membranes of realistic size, and contrasting the observed phase structure with that of a phantom (non-selfavoiding) crystalline membrane.
