Center vortex confinement as a mechanism dual to monopole confinement mechanism
Abstract: We argue that the confinement of quarks by central vortices is due to the Aharonov-Bohm scattering of quarks by large magnetic fluxes. This picture is dual to the usual monopole confinement mechanism. We also discuss the third scenario of confinement: confinement by central monopoles. By numerical calculations we prove the center monopole dominance.
