Landau gauge fixing supported by Genetic Algorithm
Abstract: An algorithm for the Landau gauge fixing is proposed, which makes the steepest ascent method be more efficient by using the genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm works for detecting topological configularions which cause Grigov copy trap. The steepest ascent method with the genetic algorithm is able to eliminate such topological configurations consciously and achieve the best fit configuration to the minimal Landau gauge avoiding Grigov copies.
